How Hydro Jetting Works

A specialized nozzle delivers high-pressure water in every direction as it travels through the line. It cuts through grease, sludge, mineral scale, sand and small roots, then flushes the debris out of the system.

LCI inspects the line first to confirm the pipe can handle jetting and to choose the right pressure.

Ideal Uses in Northern Palm Beach County

Restaurant and commercial kitchen lines, multi-unit building stacks, older cast iron drains with heavy scale, main lines that pick up sand after storms, and any drain that keeps re-clogging after cabling.

Preventive Jetting Schedules

Commercial kitchens and HOAs in Palm Beach Gardens and Jupiter often book jetting on a fixed schedule to avoid emergency closures. We can set that up for your property.

How hydro jetting works

Snaking vs. hydro jetting

Jetting is like power washing a pipe from the inside. A cable punches a path through a clog. Jetting removes the buildup that caused it.

CROSS-SECTIONCleanpipe wall
How it works
High-pressure water scours the full pipe wall.
What is left behind
Buildup is flushed down the line, so the pipe runs close to its original size.
Best for
Grease, scale, sand, roots and clogs that keep coming back.

The process

How we jet a line

  1. 01

    Camera the line

We inspect first to confirm the pipe can take jetting and see what is in it.

  2. 02

    Match the pressure

Pressure and nozzle are set for the pipe material and condition.

  3. 03

    Cut and scour

Forward jets break up the blockage. Rear jets scour grease, scale, sand and roots off the walls.

  4. 04

    Flush it out

The water carries the debris down the line and out of the system.

  5. 05

    Confirm the flow

We check that the line drains freely before we leave.

FAQ

Hydro Jetting: common questions

Is hydro jetting safe for older pipes?

It is when the line is inspected first. We camera the line and adjust pressure for the pipe material and condition.

Hydro jetting or cabling?

Cabling is fine for a simple, one-time obstruction. Jetting is the better choice for buildup, grease, recurring clogs and commercial lines.

How long does it take?

Most residential jetting jobs take one to two hours. Commercial lines vary by length and buildup.

So nice to have a company that actually knows what they are doing. Had two companies come to find my septic tank with no luck. Joel able to find the tank in five minutes. My tank was serviced and my drain field rejuvenated. Couldn’t have asked for a better service.
